The British Columbia<\/strong> Provincial Park<\/strong> even offers seasonal camping<\/strong> and the trails<\/strong> are utilized for hiking, running, biking, and nature exploration<\/strong>. Check the BC Parks website<\/strong> for updates about any trail closures or campfire bans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Englishman River Falls Trails <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Englishman River is located 35 km northwest of Nanaimo <\/strong>or 13 km southwest of Parksville. It takes about 30 minutes to drive<\/strong> to the park and conservation area from Nanaimo<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a Tranquil hike on a hot day during summer! <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The main trail is a 1.3 kilometer loop with a minimal elevation gain of only 52 meters mainly adjacent to the meandering river. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a suspension bridge<\/strong> which overlooks a popular swimming area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Englishman River waterfalls<\/strong> flow with the greatest volume and vigor after rainy<\/strong> seasons. However, this is also the season when trails can experience windfall<\/strong> (trees and branches down) and water erosion<\/strong> on the trails. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
