Hello Chiang Mai <\/strong>\ud83d\ude09"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">April 17th 2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a lively adventurous week in Bangkok during Songkran, we departed from Apartelle Hotel in the Chatuchak area and headed north for a week in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sandysglobaleyes.blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/e3b6b9b9-34f9-455d-b82c-d957f654ec86-collage.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2284\" \/><figcaption>Lovely modern Apartelle Hotel <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today is our travel day&#8230; Tomorrow we explore the famous temples (Wats) aroundChiang Rai. Prior to our departure from Bangkok, I wanted to comment on the humongous bill boards\u2014Particularly near the International airport. Many of the boards display advertisements, but some illustrate famous people or contain important messages. Here are a few of my favorites.
