Wow! What an amazing view of the bustling city of over 10 million (registered) inhabitants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sandysglobaleyes.blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/12a17cc6-1686-419a-8b9e-adfb0e9a0c63-collage.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2257\" \/><figcaption>Alexander\u2019s birthday dinner at Baiyoke <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon entering the lobby and taking the elevator up up up &#8230;there is a small museum section you pass through prior to arriving at the restaurant levels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sandysglobaleyes.blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/610f16fe-1fef-4ed5-8fb5-d47fbaa2047b-collage-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2258\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our reserved location was outside on one of the balconies. It was lovely outside as there was a light cooling breeze and a stunning view of Bangkok from the 81st floor! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sandysglobaleyes.blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/0edd6dcf-ecac-4e33-b642-d0578c9026b3-collage.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2259\" \/><figcaption>81st floor Balcony Buffet at Baiyoke <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We arrived about 5:30 pm enabling us to experience the views during the daylight, sunset, and dark of night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sandysglobaleyes.blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/445340b8-32ee-4a7f-8f0a-3ff879e28609-collage.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2260\" \/><figcaption>Views of Bangkok day, sunset, night <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The buffet inside was extensive &#8230; featuring Thai, seafood, bbq, salads, and desserts. In addition well trained waiters delivered appetizers, salad, soup, sushi, main course, and fruit to us on the balcony during the evening. You couldn\u2019t go hungry here! There was a huge amount of seafood. The crab seemed to be especially popular. If only I was not allergic to crab! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sandysglobaleyes.blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/d6a1da6d-f1fe-47ee-a6c3-7f1b3522b7e2-collage.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2262\" \/><figcaption>Buffet selections at Baiyoke Sky Hotel <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After sunset, a trio of musicians travelled around the restaurant looking for people celebrating special occasions. They sang Happy birthday to Alexander and it was so satisfying to see his appreciative smile. \ud83d\ude18\ud83c\udf82\ud83e\udd70. What a wonderful evening! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sandysglobaleyes.blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/5e41c7bb-bffa-4968-bcd2-93497c76dadf-collage-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2263\" \/><figcaption>Birthday tribute &amp; exploring the outdoor top deck. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a lovely place to celebrate a birthday or special occasion. Happy birthday to my intelligent, creative 29 year old son Alexander! Xoxo love you forever and always.
