{"id":2236,"date":"2018-10-27T19:00:38","date_gmt":"2018-10-28T02:00:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sandysglobaleyes.blog\/?p=552"},"modified":"2018-10-27T19:00:38","modified_gmt":"2018-10-28T02:00:38","slug":"excitement-across-the-street-and-at-school-orca-live","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sandysglobaleyes.blog\/?p=2236","title":{"rendered":"Excitement across the street and at School&#8211;Orca Live!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>September 24th and 25th 2018<\/p>\n<p>Besides the traffic coming from the main street&#8211;semis, logging trucks, etc. and the train that passes by every hour or so, it&#8217;s pretty darn quiet in our side of town. \ud83d\ude42 So we were quiet shocked when we received a phone call asking what was happening across the street. Hmmm? It was an interesting episode of the Voice and we didn&#8217;t hear anything. However,\u00a0 when we opened the curtains&#8230; Oh my! It seemed most of the emergency vehicles from Burns Lake were across the street! I had been teaching students about coastal Vancouver Island and showing video clips of Orcas at rubbing beaches.
